Smart Solar Bench V2.0 Edge AI
V2.0 keeps everything the V1.0 base provides (solar power, storage, charging, connectivity, lighting and display) and adds an on-device edge AI layer. The edge AI layer is to be deployed in V2.0; it is not installed on any bench today.

Every V1.0 feature stays active in the V2.0 baseline. Nothing is removed to make room for compute.

Edge AI, computer vision and on-device analytics are added on top. Planned, subject to validation.

Status: every V1.0 feature is Active and stays active in the V2.0 baseline. Edge AI is the only V1.0 item that is not installed. Numeric ratings such as solar rating, battery capacity and charging output are published once verified.

Edge AI status: DoubleSlit edge AI, computer vision and on-device AI analytics are not deployed in V1.0. They become available only after installation and validation in a V2.0 configuration. See DoubleSlit and Responsible AI.
How V2.0 fits the platform
The same architecture as V1.0, with compute at the edge.
- The bench keeps its identity as a Helix Asset Twin.
- Edge AI runs on the bench; only summaries leave it, where connected.
- Measures are defined in ViSE with source, method and time period.
- MTRX presents the results where implemented.

No. V2.0 is planned. Edge AI is to be deployed in V2.0 after validation.

Does the V1.0 bench have edge AI?
No. Edge AI and computer vision are not installed in V1.0.
Can I upgrade a V1.0 bench?
